When asked about which one do you like to play with between paid games and free-to-play, 52% players says that they would like to play free-to-play game more; while 35% players claims that it will depend on the game itself, they will spend money on an online game which has fun. The other thinks that paid games are made greater than these free of charge.

Game reports said that free game will become a trend for all games to go, because more and more companies are offered their games for free to attract more eyes. And these game companies are continuing to update with new content, are coming with new and special items for sale.

　　Take Guild Wars 2 for example, it is a paid game and released in August 2012. The game sold it regular version for $69.99 at the beginning of its release, but now it has priced off to $39.99 due to fewer players join in the game. Game companies know that in order to make a good profit, the number of customers is the key to them. While a high price game cannot accept by some players, so they have to price down to draw the attentions of players. But they can release new items for players with the new updates coming. Players can select to buy them or not by Guild Wars 2 gold . Those are all of players' own free will.
