Wildstar aims at scramble players from World of Warcraft

Wildstar is the debut work of the Carbine studio, with the development for more than five years, is going to be launched this year. Recently, the NCsoft subordinate Carbine production team responsible for developing of Wildstar indicate that the game they made will attract the players who has already abandoned World of Warcraft.
“We are developing some unusual game content, and targeting the loss subscribers of World of Warcraft,” Stephan Frost said, “ we though test and game expo to show the core online game players with Wildstar. Now they notice the new work and are concerned about our work and progress.”
We all know that from February to April this year, World of Warcraft lost a total of 1.3 million renewal players. Currently, so many online games on the market are turning into free game pattern, to survive in this competitive market. But the Carbine studio game designers Stephan Frost indicate that Wildstar rely on the unique structure is sure to succeed in where other online games fall.
Stephan Frost said, “ we are working on a complete different game. The birth time of our game, is the precisely time that World of Warcraft is lossing players. Coincidentally, within the Carbine studio development team, there are 17 former Blizzard employees, like World of Warcraft animator Kevin Beardslee, Starcraft, Diablo, Warcraft III and World of Warcraft music director Jason Hayes. What the current players need is a game not only with deep connotation, enough core, but also a online game easy to accept. However, Wildstar are ajust able to fill the void of this class players. During the process of the game test, we find out that players understand our game. They know the improvements we made to the game, and notice that this indeed a very cool game.”
